2025. Hirosaki Neputa Festival
The night sky is ablaze as the procession of vividly decorated floats winds through the streets and the air thunders with the poundings of the drums.
The city comes alive, awakened from the summer doldrums by the emotion and excitement of the Neputa Festival.
*Received “Prince Takamado Memorial Regional Traditional Performing Arts Award” in 2006.
*National Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property “Hirosaki Neputa”
*Selected as 100 Soundscapes of Japan

All seats reserved (chair seats only) 3,000 yen each
*Same price for adults and children
*Souvenirs (Aomori apple juice, Neputa fan, etc.) are included.
*Regardless of age, if you require a seat you will need to purchase a seat.
*The Hirosaki Neputa Festival will be held rain or shine.

Operation starts at 19:00
*End time may change depending on the number of vehicles in operation.
Notes
*The viewing seats are not roofed. (Umbrellas and parasols are also not permitted. Please prepare a raincoat or other appropriate item in case of rain.)
*Smoking is prohibited inside the spectator seats.
*Eating and drinking is permitted in the spectator seats, but please take your trash with you when you leave.
*Please note that tickets will only be refunded if the event is canceled due to bad weather. (The festival will be held rain or shine.)
*Any items lost in the spectator seats will be kept for one month after the end of the festival, and will be disposed of appropriately after this period has elapsed.
