The sister lived in Sologne region,owned and ran the hotel called Hotel Tatin in 19th century.One day during the midday scramble, the sister placed their tart in the oven the wrong way round. It was created by accident at the Hotel Tatin in France by overcooking (caramelising) what was supposed to be the apples for an apple pie. One of the Tatin sisters tried rescuing the overcooking apples by placing pastry on the top and turning it upside down.
The overcooking apples by placing sugar pastry on the top and it has been on the menu of that famous restaurant ever since.
this Tarte was named "Tarte Tatin", simply made famous by the Tatin sisters.
